The Civic is No More

This week, our car of 10 years was involved in an accident, and has been laid to rest within the mighty walls of a salvage yard. This car has been a constant throughout our friendship, courtship, and married life.  It has transported us and many good friends faithfully.  Many good times have been experienced within its door pillars, and many good tunes have passed through it’s speaker cones.  It is with sadness that we say “adieu”.

How sad! “Gettin JIGGY wit it” and drives to r-ville are directly related to the civic.

Unfortunately it was me, and I’ll never be able to live it down.

I shed a little tear when I saw the picture. We did have some pretty unforgetable times in the civic. I will miss it dearly. I too remember the days of Big Willy and r-ville.

How did it happen? Any damage to you, body or soul?

Brian! Not the civic! Is it strange that I have memories of a car I didn’t own? (and haven’t seen for a few years) They mostly consist of Brian cleaning it every Saturday in the dark side parking lot. Then there was the trip to Vegas for NYE. And, of course, the weekend he bought the bra. Good times, good times.

@Heather, I think I prefer the term “nose mask“. Just wanted to clarify that it was a car accessory.
